Our mission as a Florida Hospital - Community Programs, is to improve the quality of life of individuals and communities, improving the physical and emotional health of participants while reducing health care costs.

Helping people gain self-confidence in their ability to control their symptoms and how their health problems affect their lives.

CUIDATE is an initiative funded by Florida Hospital East in Orlando.

The program "Living a Healthy Life with Chronic Condition" is a no cost program that provides workshops to individuals that suffer or want to learn how to prevent any chronic illnesses. A chronic illness is a disease that has no cure. It is a condition which individuals should learn to live with and control on a daily basis.

“Living a Healthy Life with Chronic Condition” teach individuals:
• how to manage and control a chronic illness
• workouts capable of performing according to one’s condition
• exercises of relaxation
• how to eat nutritiously
• how to read nutritional labels
consequently resulting in living a better quality of life.

This program was created by Stanford University in California and approved by the Centers for Control Disease and Prevention (CDC) of United States as valid evidence-based practice.

I have personally Blanca Eleonora Carrillo and Oscar Pardo, and as the Coordinator of the program, I certify that they are qualified instructors who have graduated from this program. They are responsible people and of good character that have shown a sincere interest in assisting the community.

Thank you for the support that you and your organization have offered us in benefit of the community.
